Speech-Language Pathologist in Dahlonega, GA
Located in Habersham, GA, this contract position offers an opportunity for a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized speech therapy services. Serving students in grades K–5 within ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms, this role focuses on delivering targeted intervention and supporting individualized education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to students with autism spectrum disorder and severe/profound needs.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with Medicaid billing processes as required.
- Collaborate onsite with educators and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist licensure is mandatory.
- Active Georgia Educator Certificate required.
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience working in school-based settings is preferred.
- Experience with ASD and severe/profound classroom caseloads is a strong asset.
- Reliable transportation essential; this is an onsite-only position.
Position Details:
- Full-time commitment (up to 37.5 hours per week), with part-time options considered.
- Contract duration from ASAP through end of the current school year and into the 2025–2026 academic year.
- One position available.
