Travel Speech Pathology - Thornton, CO
A comprehensive opportunity is available for Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) looking to contribute their skills in a dynamic school setting within the Denver area. This full-time, travel-based role involves providing exceptional speech therapy services across multiple elementary and high school campuses with scheduled leave of absence (LOA) coverage assignments. The positions are tailored for licensed SLPs, including Clinical Fellowship Candidates seeking experience in diverse school environments.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students at Eagleview Elementary, Westview Elementary, Hillcrest Elementary, Stem Launch K-8, and Northglenn High School.
- Provide coverage during periods of staff leave, ensuring continuity of care from early August through mid-November.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate student records and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements.
- Adapt therapy plans to meet a wide range of age groups and communication needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure.
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification.
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Candidates; however, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants are not eligible.
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to student success.
Location & Scheduling:
- On-site assignments across several schools in the Denver metropolitan area.
- Full-time position with a commitment of 35+ hours per week.
- Travel required between assigned schools in Thornton, CO, and surrounding districts.
- Coverage assignments range from early August to mid-November 2026.
