A travel opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support schools in the Denver area, specifically focused on Arapahoe Ridge Elementary. This full-time position (35+ hours per week) runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026, providing an engaging role in a school setting.
Location: Thornton, CO with travel requirements to the Denver area.
Position Highlights:
- Serve as an SLP within public schools supporting K-12 students.
- Caseload includes a diverse student population with communication disorders.
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Candidates; however, this role is not suitable for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SPLAs).
- Active Colorado DOE Certification and valid SLP licensure are required.
- This is a “soft job” with active district needs advertised but variable timelines for interviews and assignments.
- Account management support provided remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district regulations.
- Support student communication development in a school environment.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
- Valid Colorado Department of Education certification.
- Experience in school-based SLP services preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a travel role.
