A full-time opportunity is available for a certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services on-site in Thornton, CO. This role supports students at Arapahoe Ridge Elementary within the Denver area, under a contract running from as soon as possible through May 22, 2026. Candidates with active SLP licensure and Colorado DOE certification are required. Open to Clinical Fellowship Candidates, this position is not open to Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification
- Eligibility to work full time (35+ hours per week)
- Experience or comfort working with elementary-aged children
- Clinical Fellowship Candidates encouraged to apply
- Not suitable for SLPAs as the role requires fully licensed clinicians
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students at Arapahoe Ridge Elementary
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and support the goal-setting process
Location and Schedule:
- On-site work in Thornton, Colorado, serving the Denver-area school district
- Full-time hours, typically 35+ per week
