School-Based | Local & Travel Opportunities
Blazer Jobs is partnering with a trusted school district in Thornton, CO, to hire a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based contract. This opportunity is open to both local candidates and travel professionals who are passionate about supporting students’ communication, academic, and personal growth.
As an essential member of the educational team, you’ll provide individualized therapy and collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff to help students thrive.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings.

Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech and language disorders.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school-based teams to support student success.
-
Deliver direct therapy services and monitor progress.
-
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with district and state requirements.
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Active Colorado SLP license (or eligibility to obtain).

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Prior school-based experience preferred, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits

Local Pay Range: $49–$56/hour (based on experience).

Travel Pay Range: $1,800–$2,100/week (taxable + stipends).
