Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join one of our trusted school district partners in Thornton, CO. This is a full-time school-based contract role open to virtual, local, and travel professionals who are passionate about supporting communication development and removing barriers to learning for students.
As a valued member of the team, you will collaborate with students, educators, and families to help each child reach their full potential. We’re looking for someone who brings both exceptional clinical skills and a genuine passion for making a lasting impact in the lives of children.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings.
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide direct therapy (on-site or via teletherapy) and monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Colorado SLP license (or eligibility to obtain).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates welcome.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
- For virtual roles: Reliable high-speed internet and comfort with teletherapy platforms.
Compensation & Benefits:
Local Pay Range: $49–$56/hour.Travel Pay Range: $1,800–$2,100/week (taxable + stipends).
Virtual Pay Range: Competitive hourly rate based on licensure and experience.
