Speech Therapist in Thomasville, NC
Provide specialized support as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a K-12 educational setting in Thomasville, NC. This contract role focuses on delivering speech therapy services primarily to Pre-K and Kindergarten students, managing a caseload of approximately 40–45 young learners. The position requires an on-site presence and offers a schedule of 25–30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, beginning as soon as possible through January 31, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Deliver targeted interventions to support communication skills in Pre-K and Kindergarten students.
- Maintain accurate documentation within educational systems such as ECATS and Infinite Campus.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to maximize student progress.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and district policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license (verification required).
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience with the Early Childhood Application Tracking System (ECATS) is mandatory.
- North Carolina Department of Public Instruction G License required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Prior experience working with young children in a school setting advantageous.
- This role does not support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants at this time.
- On-site work only; remote or hybrid arrangements are not applicable.
