This role focuses on providing therapeutic support to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist certification (CCC) and must be registered with the Board of Speech Examiners. AL Department of Education SLPA licenses are not applicable for this position, as it is for direct hire only. Verification of licensure will be required during the credentialing process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech and language services tailored to the unique needs of K-12 students
  • Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district standards
  • Participating in assessments and individualized education program (IEP) meetings

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple school environments
  • Ability to meet credentialing deadlines and participate in prescreen interviews as scheduled (flexible time options available)
