Two Speech-Language Pathologist positions are available to support K-8 students in a dynamic public school setting in Mesa, AZ. These roles offer the opportunity to work in person throughout the current school year, with one full-time and one part-time contract position available.
Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in school-age children. Candidates will collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans and provide direct therapy services tailored to student needs. The position requires maintaining accurate documentation and complying with state and federal regulations related to school-based speech therapy.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance specifically (Level 1 clearance is not accepted)
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) desirable
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Ability to work effectively with children in grades K through 8
