A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve an elementary caseload in a K-12 school setting located in Tempe, AZ. This contract position runs for the current school year (CSY) and offers the chance to support a diverse student population in developing essential communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligible for or completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings, particularly with elementary students
- Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and related speech and language requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluation and therapy services to elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student goals, progress, and communications
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary educational plans
