Virtual School-Based Speech Therapy - Michigan
A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a K-8 school setting supporting 22 students across a telespeech platform. This contract position is scheduled for 16 hours per week over 2 days, aligning with the current school year calendar. Services will be provided remotely with a focus on students in kindergarten through eighth grade, operating within a district that also includes middle and high school sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy services through teletherapy to meet individual student needs
- Collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement IEP goals
- Monitoring and documenting student progress consistently
- Maintaining compliance with district policies and ASHA standards
Qualifications and credentials required:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Appropriate state certifications for school-based speech therapy
- Experience providing teletherapy services preferred
