An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized services through a leave replacement contract within multiple educational settings in the Wooster and Wayne County areas, Massachusetts. This K-12 role primarily serves students in pre-kindergarten through high school, including those with medically complex and developmental disabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech therapy services across multiple school locations and a preschool setting.
- Tailoring caseload management according to individual experience and skill level.
- Utilizing both in-person and teletherapy methods to support student needs.
- Collaborating with rehabilitation center staff and local school districts.
- Adhering to all licensing requirements under the State of Ohio regulations.
- Engaging with para-professional support as provided by the districts.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Valid Ohio Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Experience in school-based speech therapy services, including teletherapy.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations, including those requiring medically complex and developmental disability support.
- Flexibility to manage varying hours on a full-time or part-time basis.
- Prior experience with caseload management in educational or rehabilitation settings is preferred.
