Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, identify, and serve eligible students with speech-language impairments, collaborating with professionals and parents.
- Model proper language use, maintain accurate records, and integrate curriculum.
- Identify speech and language disorders, participate in student staffing, and conduct classes.
- Provide consultative services to integrate goals across environments.
- Evaluate and report student progress, collaborate with administration for program implementation.
- Utilize creative problem-solving skills to provide effective support and adapt to diverse challenges while working with children in a remote environment.
Qualifications:
- Must meet all state requirements for Speech Language Pathology in state of residence as well as Virginia (Licensed SLP with the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology)
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Ability to obtain liability insurance prior to start date
- Must be familiar with technology and pass a technical screening
- 2 years of school experience preferred
