A temporary Speech-Language Pathology opportunity is available to provide specialized services in a K-12 school setting. This position covers a leave starting in early January 2026, with immediate availability highly preferred. The role involves delivering teletherapy and in-school speech-language support to students requiring intervention.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders
- Implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Providing teletherapy sessions as well as in-person support in compliance with school protocols
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate communication strategies across learning environments
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of progress and services rendered
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience providing speech-language pathology services in school and teletherapy settings
- Strong skills in using telepractice platforms and virtual therapy tools
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student populations across K-12 grades
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to student-centered care
