Speech Teletherapy - IL
A 35-hour per week contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in virtual service delivery. This role supports K-12 students through teletherapy, delivering tailored speech and language interventions in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students across the K-12 spectrum
- Deliver teletherapy sessions focused on speech sound disorders, language delays, fluency, and other communication challenges
- Collaborate with educators and families to monitor progress and adjust therapy goals as needed
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with regulatory standards
- Utilize technology platforms effectively to ensure engaging and productive virtual sessions
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Illinois state license in Speech Language Pathology (IL SLP)
- Experience in school-based speech therapy, preferably including teletherapy service delivery
- Familiarity with pediatric communication disorders and intervention strategies
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and families remotely
