An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in teletherapy within an educational setting in Palm Desert, CA. This full-time contract position offers a focused caseload, providing both direct and indirect therapy to high school students with moderate to severe speech and language challenges, including some high-profile cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy services in speech-language pathology to high school students.
- Collaborate with onsite contracted paraprofessional facilitators to support student progress.
- Manage a moderate to severe caseload, addressing a range of speech and communication disorders.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding student progress and therapy plans.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Valid Certificate of Compliance (COC) obtained through fingerprinting via the California Teaching Credentialing Commission (CTC).
- Availability to work full-time hours (40 hours per week) focused on the full school year.
- Experience in telespeech or teletherapy services preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with high school students and cater to diverse therapy needs.
Location: Palm Desert, California
This role requires candidates to have completed fingerprint clearance through CTC and to have all required credentials accessible. The position supports the delivery of therapeutic services via telepractice while coordinating with onsite paraprofessionals.
