A 35-hour per week, full-time contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide telespeech therapy services. This role serves an itinerant caseload within a public school district located in Stafford, VA, addressing the needs of approximately 55 students primarily in middle school, with some elementary school support as well.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services to students across multiple school sites
- Managing individual caseload and maintaining accurate case management documentation
- Participating in team meetings and collaborating on Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation
- Utilizing the district's designated IEP system (training is provided) to track student progress and compliance
- Offering supervised therapy services as outlined by district guidelines
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid SLP license with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working within school settings and delivering telespeech services
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload efficiently and travel between assigned schools as needed
- Familiarity with IEP systems and documentation procedures
