Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist in Maine
Support bilingual students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in a fully remote school environment. This role requires a therapist experienced in implementing social communication strategies and structured language interventions that are tailored to multilingual learners. Collaboration with families and educators is essential to generalize communication skills across settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
- Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Current Maine Teaching Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
Highlights:

- Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours (dependent on contractor experience/district budget)
