Speech Teletherapy - CA
A full-time, contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to serve a high school caseload within a K-12 school setting in Arvin, CA. This position involves working across multiple sites throughout the school year, providing a balance of therapy and assessments for a diverse group of approximately 55 students with mild to moderate, as well as some severe, disabilities. An onsite facilitator will support therapy delivery, allowing for efficient service coordination.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Administering and interpreting assessments to inform treatment plans
- Collaborating with educational staff to support student communication goals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with school policies
- Utilizing SIRAS software for progress monitoring and reporting
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Prior experience working in California schools, ideally in high school settings
- Proficiency with SIRAS software or similar student information systems
- Ability to manage a high caseload efficiently and effectively
- Strong skills in both therapy and assessment techniques
