Responsibilities: As a Virtual School SLP, you'll have the chance to work with diverse caseloads, encompassing:
- Elementary, Middle, and High School Students: Adapting speech and language therapy sessions to meet students' unique needs at various developmental stages.
- Individual and Group Sessions: Conducting personalized therapy sessions and leading group activities to enhance communication skills and social interaction.
- Evaluation and Progress Tracking: Administering thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders, monitoring progress, and adjusting therapy plans accordingly.
- Collaboration: Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and other educational professionals to promote students' academic and social well-being.
- Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate and current records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Valid state licensure as an SLP
• Minimum of two years of experience working as an SLP in educational settings
