Pediatric Telehealth School-Based Speech Therapy | New York

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide telespeech services to an elementary school setting. This contract position requires approximately 6 hours per week, fully virtual, serving students in grades K-5. The schedule includes 4 hours of direct service and 2 hours dedicated to indirect responsibilities supporting student progress and documentation.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech-language therapy to students via virtual platforms on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, and Monday through Thursday from 2:00 to 2:30 PM
- Managing IEP case documentation, progress monitoring, Medicaid billing, and maintaining accurate related service logs
- Collaborating with educational staff to support student communication goals
Desired qualifications include:
- Current Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatrics and healthcare settings, particularly with school-aged children
- Proficiency in telespeech service delivery and virtual therapy platforms
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseload and documentation requirements
