Pediatric Speech Teletherapy - CA
A contract opportunity is available in an elementary school setting serving students from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade. This role supports a caseload of approximately 43 students and offers assignments at up to two schools. The position focuses on delivering speech-language pathology services with an emphasis on flexibility, encompassing in-person and teletherapy options.
Key responsibilities include providing evaluation, assessment, and intervention for students with speech and language needs. Collaboration with classroom staff and other professionals is essential, as well as maintaining compliance with licensure and district requirements, including fingerprint clearance prior to starting.
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Valid SLPA or SLP license
- Experience working with pediatric populations TK-8th grade
- Competency in telepractice and in-person service delivery
- Familiarity with school-based special education processes
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40+ students
- Willingness to participate in virtual interviews and onboarding procedures
This role offers an immediate start with an anticipated duration through the end of the school year. Direct supervision is available from district personnel such as paraprofessionals or licensed nursing staff.
Interviews will be conducted remotely via Zoom on a panel or casual basis, aiming for prompt decisions and offer extension.
