Position Summary
[School District or Organization Name] is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual services during a maternity leave from February 1, 2026, through June 6, 2026. This fully remote position will support an elementary school caseload, working with students in the Concord, California area.
This is a great opportunity for SLPs experienced in teletherapy who are looking for a short-term assignment in a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide virtual speech and language therapy to elementary students in individual and group sessions, in alignment with IEP goals.

Conduct virtual assessments for initial evaluations, annual reviews, and triennials using approved tools and platforms.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams.

Document therapy sessions, progress monitoring, service logs, and evaluation reports accurately and on time.

Attend virtual IEP meetings and communicate with parents, teachers, and school staff.

Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital tools to engage students and track progress effectively.

Support a range of communication needs including articulation, receptive/expressive language, fluency, pragmatics, and AAC (as needed).
Qualifications
Required:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential
-
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; will consider Clinical Fellows with strong teletherapy experience

Reliable high-speed internet and secure workspace

Proficiency with teletherapy platforms (e.g., Zoom, Presence, TheraPlatform) and digital assessment tools

Ability to work during school hours based on Pacific Time Zone (PST)
Preferred:

Prior experience providing virtual SLP services in a school setting

Familiarity with California IEP systems (e.g., SEIS or SIRAS)

Strong communication and technology skills

Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, or Tagalog is a plus
