Deliver comprehensive virtual speech-language pathology services to elementary students in a fully remote school setting. This role requires an active Georgia SLP license and GAPSC certification, along with proven school-based experience. Responsibilities involve conducting evaluations, providing teletherapy sessions, participating in IEP meetings, thorough documentation, and collaborating with families and educational staff to support student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students
- Deliver individualized teletherapy services aligned with IEP goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and compliance
- Collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and other service providers
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license and GAPSC certification
- Previous school-based SLP experience required, preferably with elementary caseloads
- Experience delivering virtual speech therapy services using teletherapy platforms
- Strong organizational and communication skills to ensure compliance and effective collaboration
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students in a remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and private workspace for confidential sessions
Location: Virtual/Remote serving students in Camden County, Georgia
Duration: Contract position from ASAP through the end of the current school year with potential for renewal
Hours: Full-time commitment of 30 hours per week
Candidates will be interviewed virtually via Microsoft Teams. This opportunity suits licensed school-based SLPs experienced in teletherapy who are comfortable navigating virtual platforms and engaging with K–12 students remotely.
