Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Speech Language Pathologist t to join our telehealth team, providing virtual therapy services to students through the VocoVision platform. This is a 1099 independent contractor position that offers the flexibility to work remotely, with hours that fit your schedule. As a Telehealth SLP, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders via engaging online therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual SLP supervision to SLPA's in a school-based setting using the VocoVision platform.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute speech and language goals and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services, student progress, and related activities.
Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience with telehealth services is an advantage but not necessary.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially in an educational setting, is preferred.
- Comfortable using virtual therapy platforms and technology (prior experience with VocoVision is a plus).
