Remote Speech Therapy in TX
A full-time virtual speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support K-12 students in a Southeast Texas Coast school district. The role involves providing teletherapy services to a diverse caseload of school-aged children, focusing on delivering effective speech and language interventions through remote platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language pathology services aligned with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLP license is required.
- Experience with virtual speech therapy is essential.
- Expertise in teletherapy platforms and remote instructional strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a full caseload and maintain quality of service.
- Previous experience in K-12 settings preferred but not mandatory.
Position Details:
- Location: Virtual position serving schools in Southeast Texas Coast.
- School Type: K-12 District.
- Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY), from as soon as possible through 5/28/26.
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Caseload: To be determined.
