Providing specialized speech-language services to students from PreK through 12th grade, this role emphasizes telespeech and teletherapy methods within a school setting. The primary caseload centers on elementary-aged children, including some non-verbal and Autism spectrum students, with no AAC or moderate to severe cases involved. PreK services follow a walk-in model, focusing on child-find testing to identify early communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy via telepractice to students across PreK to 12th grade.
- Conduct child-find testing for PreK students in a walk-in setting.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to the unique communication needs of elementary-aged students.
- Support non-verbal and Autism spectrum students through effective teletherapy sessions.
- Collaborate with educators and families to monitor student progress and adjust interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC-SLP) with experience in school settings.
- Proven proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy service delivery.
- Familiarity with PreK through 12th-grade developmental milestones and communication disorders.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, including those with Autism or non-verbal communication challenges.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students and communicate with families remotely.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining quality of care.
