Job Description: In this role, you will provide teletherapy services to students with speech and language disorders in a school-based setting through digital platforms. Responsibilities:
- Identify children at risk for reading and writing problems
- Providing intervention and documenting outcomes for reading and writing
- Assuming other roles, such as aiding with general education teachers, parents, and students
- Advocating for effective literacy practices; and advancing the knowledge base.
- Conduct digital assessments and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC license in Virginia
- 2+ years of experience in school-based settings.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Proficient in technology and able to pass a tech screening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
