Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist in Indiana
We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired to provide instructional services to students across multiple grade levels. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, utilizing accessible teaching methods, and providing progress reports to ensure IEP compliance in an online setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
- Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Current Indiana Teaching Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
