Position Summary:
VocoVision is searching a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote services to K-12 students across Washington State. This role presents the opportunity to work remotely while delivering essential therapy services using VocoVision’s cutting-edge teletherapy platform. As an independent contractor, you’ll help ensure students across Washington receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Key Duties:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments for students in compliance with Washington education standards.
- Design and implement customized therapy plans that address IEP goals and individual student needs.
- Lead interactive and engaging therapy sessions using VocoVision’s teletherapy tools.
- Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to promote student success and progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, monitor progress, and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings, providing expert insights to guide team decisions and services.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Active and valid SLP license in Washington
- Current teacher's certification in Washington
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working in schools or familiarity with Washington’s educational guidelines (preferred).
- Proficiency with technology and virtual therapy platforms.
- Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
