Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Pennsylvania to provide virtual therapy services to K-12 students. This fully remote position allows you to collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to deliver individualized speech and language therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions using VocoVision’s teletherapy platform.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports.
- Attend virtual IEP meetings and other relevant school team meetings as needed.
Requirements
- Licensure: Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Pennsylvania.
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Credential: Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate required.
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in schools (preferred).
- Technical Skills: Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and technology; completion of brief technology screening required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania’s school-based requirements and special education services.
- Previous teletherapy experience.
- Experience with a diverse K-12 caseload, including students with various communication disorders.
