Remote School Speech Therapy - Virginia
Providing Spanish-language speech-language pathology services via teletherapy to K-12 students, this part-time contract position operates within the Virginia Beach area school district. Services will be delivered virtually with a focus on bilingual evaluations and teletherapy sessions, primarily for children in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active Virginia Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure.
- Proficiency in Spanish language, essential for bilingual service delivery.
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and delivering remote speech-language pathology services.
- Prior experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide targeted therapeutic interventions in a virtual format.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct two to three speech and language evaluations weekly as part of a bilingual teletherapy program.
- Deliver speech therapy sessions tailored to the individual needs of students receiving virtual services.
- Collaborate with educational professionals to support student communication development.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of services in compliance with educational and licensure guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing communication and coordination with school district representatives and account managers.
Location: Virtual service delivery supporting students in the Virginia Beach area.
Job type: Part-time, as-needed contract through the end of the current school year (January 5 to June 16).
