Remote School Speech Therapy - Michigan
Seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide teletherapy services within a school setting located in Pontiac, MI. This contract position offers approximately 35 hours per week, primarily supporting elementary and middle school students, with some responsibilities involving initial evaluations for younger children. The assignment includes work with K-12 students, allowing flexibility for the candidate to set their schedule aligned with the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy and telespeech services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct initial speech and language evaluations for early learners as needed
- Collaborate with school personnel to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all caseload students
- Ensure compliance with state licensure requirements and school policies
Qualifications:
- Current and active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license
- Experience providing teletherapy or telespeech services in an educational environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills appropriate for working with children and educators
- Ability to administer assessments and develop speech-language treatment plans
