Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide telehealth services via the VocoVision platform. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, allowing for flexible hours and the ability to work from the comfort of your own home. As a Telehealth SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders using virtual therapy tools and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide telehealth speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting via the VocoVision platform.
- Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and therapy plans for students.
- Offer direct one-on-one and group teletherapy sessions, utilizing virtual tools and interactive platforms to engage students.
- Track student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to support the development of communication skills in students.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and provide recommendations for speech and language goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy activities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience providing telehealth services is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Experience working with children, particularly in a school-based setting, is preferred.
