Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist with experience supporting high-needs caseloads to join our virtual team. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while making a meaningful difference in the lives of clients who require specialized communication support. As a VocoVision teletherapist, you’ll have the tools, resources, and team collaboration needed to deliver high-quality services in a virtual environment.
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments for clients with a wide range of communication challenges, including significant speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients with complex or intensive needs (e.g., students with autism, multiple disabilities, or severe speech-language impairments).

Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions using telepractice tools and techniques adapted for diverse and high-needs populations.

Collaborate closely with caregivers, teachers, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and consistent support.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation including evaluation reports, IEP goals, progress notes, and billing.

Provide consultation and training to school staff or family members to reinforce strategies outside therapy sessions.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).

Active Pennsylvania SLP license AND Active PPID (Teaching Certification).

Proven experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with a strong background working with high-needs or complex caseloads.

Previous telepractice or virtual therapy experience strongly preferred.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients, families, and educational teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and digital documentation systems.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload while maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
