Are you a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a difference in a virtual setting? This flexible remote role allows you to help K-12 students overcome speech and language challenges, enhancing their academic and personal success—all from the comfort of your own home.
Position Highlights:
- Hourly Pay: $50–$56 per hour, based on experience
- Work Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available with flexible hours
- Remote Work: Conduct therapy and assessments virtually from anywhere
- Caseload: Work with students across various age groups, addressing a range of speech and language needs
- Contract Type: Independent contractor (1099)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Virtual Therapy: Deliver remote speech therapy sessions tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct virtual speech and language assessments to identify areas of concern and provide effective interventions.
- Collaboration: Partner with educators, parents, and support staff to create customized plans and help students achieve their goals.
- Behavioral Support: Develop strategies to address communication disorders and behavioral challenges effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certifications: ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and eligibility for or possession of Pennsylvania state licensure.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience, preferably in a school-based or pediatric setting.
- Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, parents, and school teams.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using virtual platforms for therapy and assessments (Zoom, online therapy tools, etc.).
