Responsibilities:
- Assessment Excellence: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and individual student needs.
- Virtual Therapy: Deliver engaging and effective virtual therapy sessions to students, focusing on speech and language goals.
- Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor students' progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary.
- Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate closely with school teams, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessment results, treatment plans, and therapy sessions.
- Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Educational Qualifications: Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and possess a valid IL state license + PEL.
- Experience Matters: Bring a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with expertise in assessments and developing IEPs.
- Passion for Helping Others: Demonstrate a genuine passion for helping students overcome communication challenges.
- Tech Savvy: Be comfortable working remotely and have access to reliable internet and necessary computer equipment.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
