Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Rhode Island Schools
VocoVision, in partnership with Sunbelt Staffing, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Rhode Island to provide remote services for K–12 students. This is a 1099, fully virtual opportunity with a competitive hourly rate and flexible scheduling for the current school year.
Position Details:

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: End of School Year (EOSY)

Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hrs/week)

Caseload Model: Individualized caseload, typically 20–25 students per SLP, including direct therapy and IEP participation

Responsibilities:
-
Conduct evaluations and provide direct therapy services virtually
-
Complete documentation and collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff
-
Supervise onsite SLPAs if assigned
-
Participate in IEP meetings and case management

IEP Systems: Varies by district; training provided

Technology: Must complete a tech screening to ensure teletherapy readiness

Contract Type: 1099 (Independent Contractor)

Hourly Rate: Competitive, based on experience and district budget
Requirements:
-
Active Rhode Island SLP license
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
ASHA CCC-SLP required
-
Prior school-based experience preferred
-
Comfortable providing teletherapy and collaborating remotely
