Bilingual Spanish/English School Speech-Language Pathologist Teletherapy Job in California
VocoVision is seeking a bilingual Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist to work with Spanish-speaking students in California.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to Spanish-speaking students, ensuring culturally responsive services
- Conduct bilingual assessments and develop therapy plans tailored to the needs of Spanish-speaking students
- Collaborate with ESL/ELL teachers to address communication barriers and support language development
- Attend IEP meetings and provide bilingual support for families and staff
- Offer consultation to teachers on best practices for supporting language development in bilingual students
Caseload Information:
- Grades: K – 12
- Caseload: 27 students
- Focus on bilingual language development, speech sound disorders, and articulation in both Spanish and English
Job Details:
- Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Pay: Competitive flat hourly rate, commensurate with experience
- Location: Virtual, school is based in California
Minimum Requirements:
- SLP license in your state of residence, as well as California
- ASHA CCCs
- Two years of school-based SLP experience
- One year of teletherapy experience
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
