Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist in Indiana
A forward-thinking online education provider is seeking a Virtual Teacher for the Visually Impaired to deliver specialized instruction in a digital learning environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in writing IEPs, conducting assessments, and providing instruction aligned with individual goals using accessible formats and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
- Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Current Indiana Teaching Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
