Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Teletherapy - Virginia School District
Position Overview:
A Virginia school district is seeking a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist to provide part-time virtual services for the rest of the school year. The SLP will support students with a variety of communication needs through assessment, direct therapy, and collaboration with school teams—all in a flexible online setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and participate in eligibility meetings.

Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s communication needs.

Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions via a secure teletherapy platform.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff to support generalization of communication skills.

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements.

Attend IEP and student support meetings as needed.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Active Virginia SLP license and DOE certification (or eligibility to obtain).

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Comfortable with virtual therapy tools and online documentation systems.

Strong communication and organizational skills.
