Virtual Speech Therapy in LA
New Orleans, LA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide telespeech and teletherapy services within the New Orleans, LA area school district. This contract position requires delivering virtual speech-language support aligned with the school calendar from ASAP through May 22, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions for students as assigned
- Collaborate virtually with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Complete all mandated documentation and district HR requirements promptly
- Utilize teletherapy platforms effectively to engage students across various age groups
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Louisiana state license plus full licensure in candidate’s residing state
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Minimum of 3 years experience providing speech services in Louisiana schools, including teletherapy
- Successful completion of technical screening related to teletherapy delivery
- One professional reference demonstrating relevant school-based experience
Schedule & Location:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week; Monday through Friday following the school calendar
- Daily schedule includes 7 hours of work plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Work performed remotely serving students in the New Orleans area
