School-Based Speech Teletherapy | Louisiana
Metairie, LA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide teletherapy services for K-12 students in a Louisiana school district. This contract position offers a consistent work schedule aligned with the school calendar, Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Conduct remote evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports in accordance with guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active state licensure in Louisiana and fully licensed in the candidate’s state of residence.
- Certification from ASHA (CCC-SLP).
- Minimum of three years of experience working in Louisiana schools.
- Demonstrated proficiency in teletherapy delivery.
- Successful completion of a technology screening.
- At least one professional reference available.
Location:
- Teletherapy services based out of Metairie, LA with assignments within the New Orleans area school district.
Work Schedule and Duration:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week.
- Contract duration from ASAP to May 22, 2026.
- Work hours are Monday through Friday, with schedule aligned to the school calendar.
