Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our telehealth team, providing virtual therapy services to students through the VocoVision platform. This is a 1099 independent contractor position that offers the flexibility to work remotely, with hours that fit your schedule. As a Telehealth SLP, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders via engaging online therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy to students in a school-based setting using the VocoVision platform.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Offer direct teletherapy, including one-on-one and group sessions, using interactive virtual tools.
- Continuously monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute speech and language goals and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services, student progress, and related activities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not required.
- Experience with telehealth services is an advantage but not necessary.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially in an educational setting, is preferred.
- Comfortable using virtual therapy platforms and technology (prior experience with VocoVision is a plus).
