Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
We're hiring a Virtual SLP to help K-12 students thrive in a fully online learning environment. As part of our support services team, you'll evaluate student needs, conduct therapy sessions, and document progress using online systems. Candidates should be skilled in engaging students through a screen and adapting therapy techniques for digital platforms. A valid SLP license and ASHA certification are required. Experience in school settings is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
- Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois SLP license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
