In this role,
you will help students overcome communication challenges, collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide tailored therapy sessions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders; develop and implement personalized IEPs.
- Provide therapy, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication needs.
- Conduct assessments, maintain detailed records, and contribute to team meetings for planning.
- Advocate for students, stay updated on best practices, and engage in ongoing professional development.
What You Need:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid SLP License AND Teaching Certification in the state of West Virginia.
- At least 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders.
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus.
- Reliable internet and computer (no Chromebooks/tablets allowed).
