A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing teletherapy and onsite services at a high school in Frankfort, IL. This role is designed for the 2023-2024 school year and requires delivering speech and language support primarily within a caseload range of 35 to 50 students, addressing a variety of communication needs including speech-only and adaptive challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide teletherapy and onsite speech-language services to high school students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student assessments and IEP goals
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress
- Utilize the Skyward IEP system for documentation and reporting
- Participate in team meetings and maintain accurate records in accordance with district guidelines
- Maintain effective communication with parents and educational personnel as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement required
- Experience delivering speech-language services in school settings, including teletherapy
- Ability to manage a caseload between 35 and 50 students
- Familiarity with adaptive needs and speech-only disabilities
- Skilled in using IEP systems such as Skyward
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Frankfort, IL, at a high school
- Contract duration covers the full school year (2023-2024)
- Approximately 37.5 hours per week
