A virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide critical support through telespeech services for the remainder of the school year. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language therapy to students within a school setting.
Location: Mission Viejo, California, including surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual speech and language therapy sessions to students using telespeech techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
- Provide compensatory services as needed to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all applicable regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification and license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working as an SLP in a school environment.
- Proficiency and comfort with telespeech platforms and remote therapy.
- Strong communication skills tailored to virtual interaction.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and prioritize effectively.
Assignment Details:
- Contract position, starting as soon as possible through to the end of the current school year (June).
- Remote work, servicing students based in Mission Viejo and nearby communities.
