Job Overview:
VocoVision is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote services to K-12 students in a school-based setting. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to work from home while delivering high-quality speech therapy services via VocoVision’s teletherapy platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to support students’ communication needs using innovative virtual solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual evaluations to identify speech and language needs in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals.
- Deliver engaging, effective therapy sessions using the VocoVision teletherapy platform.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' progress.
- Monitor and document students’ performance, adjusting therapy strategies as needed.
- Attend virtual IEP meetings and provide professional input on students' goals and services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting (preferred).
- Comfortable using technology for virtual therapy and documentation.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
