Speech Pathology Work From Home - CA
A full-time virtual speech language pathology role is available for the remainder of the school year, serving a K-12 school setting in California. This telespeech and teletherapy opportunity centers around preschool and early elementary caseloads, providing comprehensive support to students through assessments, direct services, and IEP meetings. Candidates will have the responsibility to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) and engage in high-priority evaluations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Leading and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Supervising and mentoring an SLPA to ensure quality service delivery
- Delivering direct speech therapy services virtually to a caseload of preschool through second-grade students
- Managing a caseload of approximately 25 students, with 15-20 receiving speech-only services
- Maintaining thorough documentation following district and legal guidelines
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid California Speech Language Pathologist credential or license
- Recent experience in a California school district using SEIS within the last 1-2 years
- Ability to supervise and support an SLPA effectively
- Proven skills managing assessments and facilitating IEP meetings
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary school-aged students
- Strong familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
